2. Data We Collect
- When you contact us: name, email address, phone number and message content.
- When browsing our website: anonymised technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, visit timestamp, pages viewed). Please also see our Cookie Policy.
- When applying for a position: CV and cover letter content.
- Third-party services: The Google Map embedded on our Contact page is operated by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) under its own terms. Data transfers to the USA are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Decision 2023/1795).
3. Purpose and Legal Basis
Data is processed for client communication, quotation purposes and service delivery. Legal bases:
- Your voluntary consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
- Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
- Compliance with a legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) — e.g. accounting requirements)
4. Retention Period
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or until you withdraw your consent, unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g. 8 years for accounting records). Recruitment data — where no employment relationship arises — is retained for a maximum of 6 months, subject to the applicant's prior consent.
5. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15): You may request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and receive a copy.
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to erasure (Art. 17): You may request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): You may request that we restrict processing of your data.
- Right to data portability (Art. 20): You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it to another controller.
- Right to object (Art. 21): Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object to such processing.
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction or loss. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours in accordance with GDPR Art. 33, and will inform affected individuals where required.
