The RIG-22 mechanical Kelly rig, an SBS DIR 806 model manufactured in 1988, has been effectively utilized for drilling hydrocarbon and geothermal wells up to a depth of 2,500 meters and for well workover and servicing operations up to 3,000 meters.

The rig features a maximum hook load capacity of 160 tons and a rotary table speed of up to 160 revolutions per minute (RPM).
